On the night of September 10, Russia launched massive strikes on Ukrainian territory using cruise missiles and attack drones, according to the Ukrainian government's press service and monitoring sources. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the attack affected 15 regions of the country.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy used approximately 415 Shahed, Gerbera, and other attack drones, as well as over 40 land-, sea-, and air-launched cruise missiles. Despite active air defense operations, some missiles and drones hit their targets: 16 missiles and 21 drones were recorded hitting 17 populated areas.
Casualties and damage

Zhytomyr Oblast : One person was killed and another was injured. Private homes and several civilian businesses were damaged.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast : Three people were injured in the city of Volochysk; the blast hit a garment factory warehouse and a gas station.

Vinnytsia Oblast : 11 missile and 26 attack drone strikes were recorded. Approximately 30 residential buildings and industrial infrastructure were damaged, and one victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

Cherkasy Oblast : There were no direct casualties, but a barn in the Zolotonosha district was destroyed, killing two cows; power lines and windows in five homes, as well as one car, were damaged.
Western regions of Ukraine
In the Chernivtsi region, one Russian drone was detected and neutralized, with no casualties. In the Lviv region, life support systems are operating normally, but Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported damage to warehouses from debris from downed targets after approximately 60 drones and more than 10 missiles were launched at the city.
The scale of the attack and comments from Ukrainian authorities
Ukrainian monitoring channels reported the use of Russian Kalibr missiles and dozens of cruise missiles. Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, noted that drone and missile attacks continue and pose a threat not only to civilians but also to critical infrastructure. He added that Russia continues military operations despite its alleged desire for peace.
Official Air Defense data
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, a total of 413 targets were destroyed, including most drones and missiles. However, some enemy weapons did reach their targets, causing damage and casualties.
Ukrainian authorities continue to assess the damage, and emergency restoration work is underway at damaged infrastructure facilities and residential buildings.
