During a working visit to the Kushoniyon district of Khatlon Region, Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda inspected agricultural and construction work and attended the opening of new social facilities. This was reported by the press service of the Khatlon Region Governor.
In the village of Koshifi in the Bustonkala jamoat, the head of government visited the Muslim trade cooperative, where he toured the vineyards and observed the harvest process. The farm's land covers 28 hectares, 23 of which are devoted to vineyards. More than 30 residents of nearby villages work on the farm. Various grape varieties are grown there, including Khusaini, Kishmish, and Pobeda.
The Prime Minister noted that in today's environment, it is important to use land rationally, achieve multiple harvests per year, and supply the domestic market with fresh agricultural produce, which requires farmers to exercise a high degree of responsibility.
On the same day, Istiklol Rasulzoda opened a new Health Center in the village of Gulzor, Sarvati Jamoat. The medical facility was built with the support of local entrepreneurs and residents using a joint hashar project. The cost of the project was 580,000 somoni. The center includes six offices and is equipped with modern medical equipment as part of the "Early Childhood Development to Strengthen Human Capital in Tajikistan" project, funded by the World Bank.
