On August 28–29, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu paid a working visit to the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
During the visit, the two countries' foreign ministers held talks, during which they exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues. Particular attention was paid to strengthening political dialogue, developing economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation, and coordinating activities within international organizations.
The parties noted their readiness to further expand cooperation in all priority areas and emphasized the importance of maintaining a sustainable and trusting political dialogue between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
The talks took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, which, according to the participants, serves as an important foundation for strengthening the strategic partnership between the two states.
