Dushanbe police detained 27-year-old rap artist and blogger Ramazon Murodov, known by the pseudonym "Ralik," on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, the capital's Internal Affairs Department reported .
According to the agency, Murodov had previously been charged with drunk driving. His driver's license was suspended for five years and he was fined. Despite the ban, the artist drove again, this time, as law enforcement officials determined, while under the influence of drugs.
An administrative report was filed against the detainee under Article 337 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan. The materials have been submitted to the court for a decision.
According to the law, for a repeat violation, Murodov faces a fine of up to 400 units (approximately 30,000 somoni) and a ten-year ban on driving.
Law enforcement agencies emphasized that such actions pose a serious threat to the safety of road users.
