The Tajik Ministry of Defense has unveiled updated uniforms for military personnel, adapted to the country's climate. The new gear was designed with specific fabrics and tailoring in mind, which should improve comfort and practicality in the hot and mountainous climate, the ministry's press service reported .
A working meeting devoted to the issue of introducing the new uniform was held with the participation of the leadership and command of the Armed Forces, representatives of the Republic's Security Council, the National Guard, the Committee for Emergency Situations, the KGB Border Troops, the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other security agencies of the country.
At the meeting, it was noted that the updated uniform will become a unified national standard for military and law enforcement personnel. During its development, not only military standards but also national elements were taken into account, which, as the Ministry of Defense emphasized, reflects the symbols and identity of Tajikistan.
"The military uniform is not only an element of everyday service, but also a symbol of honor, dignity, and representation of the state on the international stage," the ministry stated.
It is emphasized that work to improve military uniforms has been underway since the first years of the country's independence and is being carried out within the framework of the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The department added that the introduction of the new uniform is intended to enhance the prestige of military service and create more comfortable conditions for service members.
