From August 27 to 31, Bulgaria's capital, Sofia, will host the World Cadet Judo Championships, one of the most prestigious competitions of the season. Athletes from Tajikistan will participate in the tournament, according to the Republic's Judo Federation.
The national team includes six judokas who successfully qualified through national tournaments and training camps. Tajikistan will be represented at the world championship by:

According to federation representatives, the athletes are in good physical shape and are determined to compete for prizes.
The tournament organizers have prepared a rich competition program:

On August 27, there will be fights in the 50 and 55 kg categories among boys, 40 and 44 kg among girls,

August 28 – in the categories of 60 and 66 kg among boys, 48 and 52 kg among girls,
-
August 29 – fights in the 73 and 81 kg weight classes among young men, 57 and 63 kg among girls,
-
August 30 – final individual competitions in the categories of 90 kg and over 90 kg for boys, 70 kg and over 70 kg for girls,
-
August 31 – mixed team tournament.
The Judo Federation expressed confidence that the Tajikistan team's participation in the World Championship will be an important step in the development of youth sports and will allow athletes to demonstrate a high level of training on the international stage.
