Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Guo Zhijun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Tajikistan. This was reported by the State Committee on Investments of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for developing Tajik-Chinese cooperation in investment, trade, and economics. Rahimzoda noted that over 46% of all foreign investment in Tajikistan comes from China.
The head of the State Committee for Investments invited Chinese businessmen and entrepreneurs to participate in the International Investment Forum "Dushanbe Invest-2025," which will be held in Dushanbe from October 14 to 16.
The Chinese ambassador emphasized that Beijing and Dushanbe are strategic partners. He stated that the two sides intend to strengthen investment cooperation not only in traditional sectors—manufacturing, agriculture, and mining—but also actively develop collaboration in new technologies, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and tourism.
The Dushanbe Invest-2025 forum will be a key international platform for presenting Tajikistan's investment projects and discussing prospects for expanding economic partnerships with foreign countries.
