In the lead-up to the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence, large-scale improvement and social facilities construction projects continue in the city of Isfara and rural jamoats. During a working visit, Sughd Regional Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda reviewed the progress of these projects, according to the regional administration's press service.
Construction of a 120-child preschool and sports ground continues in the Tagi Borai mahalla of the Chorkuh jamoat. According to the administration, the new preschool building is being constructed using a modern design and will provide favorable conditions for children's education. An indoor gym is also being built, which will promote mass sports and a healthy lifestyle.
At the same time, construction is underway on Secondary School No. 79 in the jamoat, which will accommodate 240 students. The school will feature spacious classrooms, a gym, a cafeteria, and specialized rooms. Once the facility is operational, the shortage of classroom space will be resolved.
Rajab Akhmadzoda instructed those responsible to complete construction work on time, using high-quality domestic materials and strictly adhering to building codes.
During his visit, the regional governor met with orphans and schoolchildren from low-income families, presenting them with backpacks, school uniforms, and school supplies. He noted that this category of citizens is under the constant care of the state, the government, and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
Also in the Chorkuh jamoat, with the active participation of local residents and entrepreneurs, shopping and service centers, sewing and shoe workshops are being built.
In the village of Nurafshon, the regional chairman reviewed a project to plant intensive and super-intensive orchards on a 600-hectare plot. This project, once implemented, will create over 200 permanent jobs and increase horticultural production.
At the end of his trip, Rajab Akhmadzoda visited labor veterans Anzhir Atlasova and Tukhta Khomidova, presenting them with financial assistance and commemorative gifts.
