A group of teenagers, students from Dushanbe's Gymnasium No. 4, rented expensive cars to celebrate Navruz and drove through the capital's streets, grossly violating traffic rules and public order. This was reported by the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the agency, minors leaned out of vehicle windows, creating dangerous situations.
During the inspection, officers from the Department for the Prevention of Juvenile and Youth Delinquency of the Dushanbe City Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs delivered a BMW with license plate number 5065AA20 and a BMW X7 with license plate number 2222ZW01, along with the drivers and students, to the police station.
In connection with this incident, administrative protocols were drawn up against nine parents of minors under Article 90 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan. Preventive interviews were held with them.
Administrative protocols were also drawn up and administrative fines were imposed on the drivers of vehicles for creating an emergency situation.
Once again, all citizens, especially parents, are called upon to not remain indifferent to the upbringing and supervision of minors.
