In the first half of 2025, Tajikistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $4.746 billion, an increase of $273.7 million compared to the same period last year. This was reported by Khurshed Karimzoda, Head of the Customs Service of Tajikistan, at a press conference today.
Of the total foreign trade volume, imports amounted to $3.803.6 billion, while exports amounted to $943.2 million. Thus, the share of imports amounted to 80.1%, while exports accounted for 19.9%.
Experts note that the structure of foreign trade remains imbalanced, with the growth in imports explained by increased purchases of fuel, food, and equipment.
