The international training "KLIC LEAD Global Workshop 2025" has begun in Sejong, South Korea, with 30 teachers from Tajikistan participating. The event is part of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Sejong City Education Department of the Republic of Korea, signed on June 24, 2020, in Dushanbe. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
The goal of the collaboration is to enhance the skills of Tajik teachers in digital education, including programming, educational technologies (EduTech), and the fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI). Participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with digital educational platforms, innovative teaching methods, and experiences in integrating high technology into the educational process.
The training program includes practical classes, exchange of experience with Korean colleagues, and visits to leading educational institutions in the Republic of Korea.
The opening ceremony was attended by officials—a representative of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea. They expressed gratitude to the Korean side for its contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation and the creation of favorable conditions for the professional growth of Tajik teachers.
The Ministry of Education and Science noted that this training is the first step toward implementing the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding and is part of efforts to digitally transform education in Tajikistan. Further cooperation is planned, including the joint development of educational materials, scientific and practical seminars, and regular teacher exchanges.
This initiative aims to improve the quality of education, digital literacy of teaching staff, and the development of international partnerships in the field of education.
