As part of his state visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh visited the National Museum of Tajikistan on Wednesday, where he got acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people. This was reported by the National Information Agency "Khovar".
The head of Mongolia was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri and representatives of the official delegation.
During the tour, the guests were presented with exhibits covering various historical periods – from the Stone Age to the present day. The delegation was particularly interested in artifacts from the Samanid period, applied art objects, traditional clothing and jewelry, as well as the country's achievements during the years of independence.
The high-ranking guests also visited the hall of modern history, including the exhibition “Gifts of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
At the end of the visit, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh left a note in the book of honored guests, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and high level of organization.
The visit of the head of Mongolia takes place against the backdrop of intensified Tajik-Mongolian cooperation in various areas, including culture and humanitarian exchanges.
