Two Tajik athletes will take part in the World Aquatics Championships, which will be held from July 23 to August 3 in Singapore. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Tajikistan will be represented at the prestigious competition by swimmers Zakhar Pilkevich and Ardasher Gadoev.
On the eve of departure, on July 22, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda, who also heads the National Swimming Federation of the Republic, met with members of the national team.
During the meeting, the Minister expressed confidence in the worthy performance of Tajik athletes and wished them success and high results at the world level.
The World Aquatics Championships in Singapore will bring together the strongest swimmers on the planet. The participation of Tajik athletes in such international tournaments contributes to the popularization of water sports in the republic and the strengthening of the country's sports image.
