The professional boxing tournament “Boxing Evening” (IBA.PRO 8) was held in the capital of Tajikistan, where two leading Tajik boxers, Bakhodur Usmonov and Davlat Boltayev, successfully performed.
In the main fight of the evening, 27-year-old Bakhodur Usmonov (record 11-0) met 29-year-old Cameroonian boxer Christopher Muafo (11-2). Usmonov confidently fought all ten rounds, winning by unanimous decision and defending the IBA.PRO Intercontinental lightweight title.
In another spectacular fight, the Olympic medalist from Paris, 23-year-old Davlat Boltayev (7-0), knocked out Nigerian Solomon Adebayo (14-1) in the first round. This victory allowed Boltayev to win the IBA.PRO Intercontinental champion title and successfully defend his championship belt.
The tournament was attended as an honorary guest by the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, respected Rustam Emomali. His presence emphasized the high level and significance of this sporting event for the republic.
The event brought together many boxing fans and became an important stage in the development of professional sports in Tajikistan.
