On July 16, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda met with the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Tawq Al-Marri, NIAT Khovar reports.
The meeting discussed important issues of cooperation, including in the areas of economics and trade, industry, energy, tourism, air traffic and agriculture.
It was emphasized that both countries pay great attention to the development of trade and economic cooperation and consider the role of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates to be important in this area.
The launch of additional flights between the capitals and other cities of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates was considered important for the development of tourism and increasing the volume of foreign trade.
Both sides generally emphasized their commitment to strengthening and expanding fruitful ties.
