On June 7, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahim Saidzoda visited comprehensive school No. 14 in the Mir Said Alii Hamadoni district of the Khatlon region and held a meeting with the teaching staff of the institution. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic.
During the visit to the school, the Minister discussed with the management and teachers issues related to the current state of the education sector. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, in particular, issues of improving the quality of education, compliance with legal requirements and attracting qualified teachers.
Saidzoda stressed the inadmissibility of involving teachers in subscriptions to publications not related to the field of education, and also categorically prohibited the collection of funds for repairs or other needs of schools. He called for support for young specialists and the creation of favorable working conditions for them.
The meeting also discussed issues related to the organization and holding of final exams, the procedure for the transfer of students from class to class, and the level of preparation of schoolchildren. The Minister emphasized the need to ensure transparency and objectivity of the examination process.
In connection with the upcoming summer vacation period, Saidzoda recommended that teachers involve students in reading fiction and scientific literature, as well as in reviewing the material they have studied. He called for more active participation in the republican competitions "Furugi subhi donohi kitob ast" ("An enlightened morning begins with a book") and "Ilm – furugi ma'rifat" ("Science is the light of knowledge").
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Education and Science expressed gratitude to the teachers who trained the winners and prize winners of the regional and republican Olympiads and presented them with letters of thanks.
