Individuals and legal entities in Tajikistan now have the ability to submit documents for construction permits electronically, according to the Committee for Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic.
Electronic document submission is being organized as part of the expansion of digitalization in the construction industry and the implementation of measures to establish an e-government.
Applicants can complete and submit the required documents through the electronic portal of the Committee's Urban Development Licensing Service.
The agency notes that the introduction of electronic services is aimed at simplifying the procedures for obtaining permits and developing digital interactions with individuals and legal entities.

At the same time, an electronic document management system was implemented in the activities of the Office of Non-Departmental State Expertise of Design Documentation in the Sphere of Urban Development.
To support the operation of digital systems, modern network information technology equipment was installed in the Committee's central office. This allowed for the functioning of the electronic document management system.
In addition, institutions and enterprises within the Committee's system have completely switched to cashless payment for government services.
Payments for state fees for permits and licenses, fines, compulsory state insurance, utilities, and other types of state services are made in non-cash form.
The digitalization of permitting procedures is part of efforts to expand electronic government services and reduce the use of cash payments in Tajikistan's architecture and construction authorities.
