On July 11 and 12, Days of Culture of Cities and Regions of Tajikistan will be held in Dushanbe parks, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Cultural programs from the cities of Istaravshan and Nurek, as well as the districts of Farkhor, Nosiri Khusrav, Yovon, Mastchokh, and Dusti, will be presented in the capital, NIAT Khovar reported, citing the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On July 11, the Day of Culture of the Farkhor District will be held at the Sadriddin Aini Park of Culture and Recreation.
The Abulkasim Firdavsi Culture and Recreation Park will host cultural programs from the city of Nurek and the Yavan district.
On the same day, the Culture and Recreation Park "Kuli Chavonon" (Youth Lake) will host the Mastchokh District Culture Day.
On July 12, the Istaravshan City Culture Day will be held in Iram Park.
The Nizomiddin Alisher Navoi Park will host the Days of Culture of the Dusti and Nosiri Khusrav districts.
During these days, residents and visitors to Dushanbe will be able to learn about the socioeconomic achievements, cultural heritage, and traditional folk crafts of the country's cities and regions.
Visitors will be able to enjoy exhibitions of agricultural products and folk crafts. National dishes and cultural and entertainment programs will also be on display.
Artists and creative groups will participate in the festive events. They will perform patriotic songs and national music, and present folk dances and theatrical compositions.
Cultural events are held in accordance with the "Schedule of anniversary and festive events, festivals, exhibitions, cultural and educational holidays, competitions, as well as events to preserve and develop folk traditions and crafts in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026."
The schedule was approved by the order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 2, 2026.
According to the approved schedule, the Days of Culture of Cities and Regions of Tajikistan will be held in June–August 2026 according to a separate plan.
