Rustami Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan and Chairman of Dushanbe, met with Chen Xiaodong, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), who is on a working visit to Tajikistan. This was reported by the press service of the Tajik parliament.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing friendly relations and strategic cooperation between Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China. Participants expressed satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations.
Rustami Emomali expressed gratitude to the People's Republic of China for its ongoing support in the implementation of priority socio-economic projects in Tajikistan.


He also emphasized the Tajik side’s readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
The meeting noted the importance of cooperation with the China International Development Cooperation Agency in implementing social, economic, and infrastructure projects aimed at sustainable development.
In this context, the parties discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation in energy, industry, transport and agriculture.

Particular attention was paid to issues of infrastructure development, digitalization, healthcare and education, as well as the training of specialists and the implementation of other social development programs.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen practical cooperation between Tajikistan and China.
The discussion also focused on continuing cooperation and implementing new development projects with the assistance of the China International Development Cooperation Agency.
