The Tajikistan women's futsal team began its performance at the fifth Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship with a draw, according to the Tajikistan Football Federation.
The tournament kicked off on June 23 at the Dushanbe Multifunctional Sports Complex—the Palace of Tennis and Water Sports. Three national teams—Tajikistan, Iran, and Kyrgyzstan—are participating in the championship.
In their opening match, the tournament hosts drew 1-1 with the Kyrgyz national team. Madina Munosibshozoda scored the only goal for the Tajikistan women's team.
The Tajik team will play its next match on June 27, when it will face the two-time Asian Futsal Champions, the Iranian women's team.
