On the morning of June 20, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in the Khovaling district of Khatlon region to unveil several anniversary buildings, lay the foundation stone for future construction, meet with representatives of various professions, and observe the living conditions of the local population. This was reported by the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
At the Khovaling District Airport, which was festively decorated in honor of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence, the Head of State was met by the Khatlon Region Governor, officials, and representatives of local executive authorities.
The President's working visit to the Khovaling district began with the commissioning of the Khovaling airport's administrative building following reconstruction.


As noted, the renovation and modernization of the airport's administrative building was carried out by local entrepreneurs as part of the country's government's constructive policy aimed at improving the country and consistently improving the population's standard of living.
This modern building, distinguished by its attractive architectural appearance, was constructed as part of the improvement campaigns dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Tajikistan's independence. Modern architectural requirements were observed during construction, while national design elements were incorporated. The building provides favorable working conditions for employees and specialists.


The airport's administrative building includes spacious offices, waiting rooms, a conference hall, passenger reception and departure areas, and a hotel. The facility's infrastructure is fully adapted to provide high-quality passenger service.



During his tour of the airport's operating conditions, Emomali Rahmon praised the quality of the completed construction work and praised the creative initiative of patriotic entrepreneurs aimed at implementing improvement and development projects for the country.
It was emphasized that this project could serve as a model for the construction of local airports in other cities and regions of the country, taking into account further improvement and modernization.
