Chairman of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan, Orif Khodjazoda, met with a delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan led by Deputy Head of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rustam Shahbazov, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of land cadastre, geodesy, and spatial data management.
Orif Khodjazoda noted that the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation provides a good opportunity to become familiar with production processes, information systems, geodetic equipment, as well as the experience of enterprises and institutions that are part of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the negotiations, it was proposed to expand cooperation in the areas of land cadastre, geospatial data, electronic government services, personnel training, and the implementation of joint projects.
Rustam Shakhbazov, in turn, expressed his readiness to take the necessary measures to implement the signed agreement and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan also familiarized itself with the activities of enterprises and institutions of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan, and visited historical and tourist sites of the country.
