The Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs awarded two residents of the country—Azimjon Valiev and Faridunshoh Vakhobov—for their courage, civic responsibility, and decisive actions that saved lives.
According to the Dushanbe police department, on June 1, Azimjon Valiev, while near the Dushanbe River, noticed a girl in a life-threatening situation. Without hesitation, he came to her aid and managed to prevent tragic consequences.
That same day, Faridunshoh Vakhobov provided aid to a young woman in danger on the Kofarnikhon River. Thanks to his courageous and timely actions, her life was saved.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that such actions exemplify high civic responsibility, humanism, and a caring attitude toward the fate of others. The willingness to help in times of need, the department emphasized, can save lives and restore hope to those in difficult situations.
For their courage and civic commitment, Azimjon Valiev and Faridunshoh Vakhobov were solemnly awarded certificates of honor and cash prizes by the leadership of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The capital's police expressed sincere gratitude to citizens who engage with society's problems and, through their noble deeds, contribute to ensuring safety and preserving lives.
