From June 1 to 4, the "Fragrant Hills of Beijing" International Tourism Forum was held in Beijing, bringing together representatives of government agencies, tourism organizations, and businesses from around the world. This was reported by the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the forum, Rustam Kholmatiyon, First Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee, presented Tajikistan's tourism potential and outlined the industry's competitive advantages. His speech focused on the development of mountain and alpine tourism, eco-tourism, and sustainable tourism, as well as the modernization of tourism infrastructure.

Forum participants were introduced to Tajikistan's natural, cultural, historical, and recreational resources, which offer ample opportunities for travel and active recreation.
On the sidelines of the forum, a meeting was held between Rustam Kholmatiyon, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Gao Zheng, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for expanding Tajik-Chinese cooperation in tourism, attracting investment, strengthening interagency cooperation, and implementing joint initiatives aimed at increasing tourism flows between the two countries.
