On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2026), a meeting was held between Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and Russia's Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the talks, the parties reviewed the progress of implementing the instructions and directives of the heads of state, given during the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan.


The meeting participants paid special attention to the prospects for further developing cooperation in agricultural exports. Specifically, they discussed the supply of fresh fruits, dried fruits, and vegetables from Tajikistan to Russia, including grape exports.
The parties emphasized that the implementation of the planned initiatives will contribute to ensuring stable product supplies, improving their quality, and expanding the range of export goods from the Republic of Tajikistan on the Russian market.
