In honor of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence and International Children's Day, a conference entitled "Investing in Children: The Foundation for Sustainable National Development and the Protection of Children's Rights" was held. This was reported by NIAT Khovar, citing the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the conference, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri noted that attention to children, their protection, and investment in their development are key areas of social policy for the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as a vital foundation for the sustainable development of society and the strengthening of human capital.
It was emphasized that in the context of globalization and the rapid development of digital technologies, success is achieved by those countries that prioritize human development, especially that of children. In this regard, the social policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the leadership of Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development and comprehensive development of children.
Education and Science Minister Rahim Saidzoda stated that attention to and investment in children means investing in their intelligence, education, health, culture, and safety.
It was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan, as a state governed by the rule of law, is improving its legislative framework in the area of ensuring children's rights and is implementing a number of state programs aimed at protecting and supporting them.
The Ministry of Education and Science, in coordination with other government agencies, is implementing specific measures to prevent violence against children, ensure a safe educational environment, develop a legal culture, and protect children from the negative impact of the digital environment.
With the rapid spread of digital technologies, children's information security has been recognized as one of the most pressing issues of our time. Therefore, the need to foster digital literacy, improve information culture, and develop students' modern competencies has been emphasized.
Particular attention was also paid to issues of ensuring access to quality education, strengthening digital infrastructure, improving the professional training of teachers, labor migration and its impact on the upbringing of children.
It was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan's cooperation with international organizations, including UNICEF and UNESCO, in the development of inclusive education, digitalization of education, and social protection of children is yielding significant results.
