On May 27, 2026, the second round of political consultations at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Indonesia was held in Dushanbe, under the leadership of Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Idibek Kalandar and Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Armanat Nasir, the Tajik Foreign Ministry reported.
During the regular consultations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Indonesia, cooperation within international and regional organizations, as well as other issues of mutual interest.


Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to expand cooperation, improve the legal framework, and increase trade and investment between Tajikistan and Indonesia.
