On May 22, Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, held a meeting with representatives of international financial companies JP Morgan, Loomis Sayles & Company, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, and Global Evolution, the committee's press service reported.


During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the current state of the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan, the country's investment opportunities, the development of the private sector, the financial market, and attracting foreign investment.
Sulton Rahimzoda presented detailed information to meeting participants on economic reforms being implemented in Tajikistan, improvements to the investment climate, measures to support entrepreneurship, and existing opportunities for foreign investors.
It was emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan pays special attention to developing cooperation with international financial circles and investors, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of priority projects.
It was noted that priority areas are energy, industry, infrastructure, the digital economy, and the green economy.
In turn, representatives of JP Morgan and international experts expressed interest in the economic opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan and confirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation and explore new investment opportunities.
At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized their interest in continuing constructive dialogue and expanding further cooperation.
