On May 25, Tajikistan's Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Pakistan's Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environment Coordination, Musadiq Masood Malik, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The Pakistani minister arrived in Dushanbe at the head of his country's delegation to participate in the Fourth High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development" 2018–2028.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, paying particular attention to interaction in the areas of water resources and climate change.
Representatives of the two countries also confirmed their readiness to further strengthen regional and international cooperation on environmental and sustainable development issues.
