Police officers detained two residents of the Abdurakhmon Jami district on suspicion of a series of thefts of livestock, pets, and citizens' property, according to the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs press service.
According to the department, several local residents contacted the district police department with reports of the theft of horses, sheep, poultry, rabbits, construction tools, beekeeping equipment, electrical appliances, beehives, bicycles, and other household items.

After receiving the complaints, police officers formed a task force. During the investigation, Nuriddinzoda Saidbek Nasriddin, born in 2001, and Kurbonzoda Asomiddin Jamoliddin, born in 2000, were detained. Both are residents of the village of Khuroson in the Yakkatut community of the Abdurakhmon Jami district.

The investigation established that the suspects had agreed upon this in advance and, taking advantage of the owners' absence, entered residential buildings in several villages of the Yakkatut community, from where they stole citizens' property.
According to police, the detainees are suspected of committing 14 thefts. The total damage caused to residents of the area is estimated at approximately 90,000 somoni.
