Levakant police officers detained seven people suspected of burglarizing local residents' homes, according to the Khatlon Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the department, Kholoeva Khidzhrona Khamzaevna, born in 2005, Yuldoshova Nigora Nasimzhanovna, born in 2002, minor Yu. B., born in 2009, Sharipova Mardzhona Salimzhanovna, born in 2004, Erniyozova Lutfiya Dzhurabekovna, born in 2001, Toshtemurova Mardzhona Todzhidinovna, born in 2000, and Shomadova Salomat Akhlidinovna, born in 1996 were detained.
All suspects are residents of the village of Zarkamar in the Vose district.


According to police, on May 8, 2026, the suspects arrived in Levakant, after which they broke into the homes of local residents: Savriniso Khudoynazarova, a resident of the village of Bokhturobod, and Sharofat Goibova, a resident of the Nurafshon district of Levakant.
According to investigators, taking advantage of the owners' absence, the suspects stole cash, as well as gold and silver jewelry, causing material damage to the victims.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that police officers detained the suspects quickly as a result of operational measures carried out immediately after the incident.
The detainees are currently suspected of committing two counts of theft. A criminal case has been opened against them under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The investigation is ongoing.
