On April 30, 2026, the Commonwealth of Independent States Executive Committee Office held a regular meeting of the expert group on the draft agreement establishing the Council of Heads of Enforcement Agencies of the CIS Member States. The meeting was held via videoconference, according to the press service of the Organization's Executive Committee.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as employees of the CIS Executive Committee.
Participants discussed a draft document aimed at establishing a Council of Heads of Enforcement Agencies of the CIS Member States. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working on a draft treaty (agreement).
The next meeting of the expert group is scheduled for May 27, 2026, where discussion of the document will continue.
