In Dushanbe, the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Center for Foreign Policy Research and International Initiatives under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation, as reported by NIAT Khovar.
The document was signed during the forum "Security Architecture of Central Asia: Modern Challenges, Threats, and Strategic Opportunities," which is taking place in the capital of Tajikistan.
The memorandum was signed by Khayriddin Usmonzoda, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies of Tajikistan, and Sanjar Valiev, Director of the Center for Foreign Policy Research and International Initiatives of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a proposal to organize a videoconference between young experts from the two centers on the topic of "Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the Context of Global Transformations."
Particular attention was paid to the current state of cooperation between the institutions, as well as prospects for its further development.
