On April 28, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, met with Bastian Heil, portfolio manager for healthcare at the German development bank (KfW). The ministry's press service reported this.
The parties discussed the progress of existing healthcare projects, as well as prospects for further initiatives in this area.



The Minister noted that the development of the healthcare system is under the direct supervision of Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon. He stated that the effective implementation of projects contributes to improving the quality of medical services, strengthening the sector's infrastructure, and expanding public access to modern medical services.
Following the meeting, the parties commended the implementation of current projects and expressed their readiness to further strengthen and expand cooperation, as well as implement joint initiatives in the field of healthcare development.
