In 2025, Tajikistan exported 30,900 tons of dried apricots worth $29.7 million. Compared to the same period last year, export volume increased by 1,300 tons, and revenue by $10.5 million. This was reported on January 30 during a press conference by the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was noted that, due to rising prices for dried apricots in foreign markets, their export volumes have been increasing year on year. Following the Export Agency's recommendation, producers have established additional processing for this product. It was emphasized that, from an economic perspective, exporting dried products offers advantages due to their long-term shelf life and higher price.
It was also reported that in 2025, the republic exported dried fruit worth $46.5 million. Compared to 2024, this figure increased by $14.8 million, or 46.9 percent.
