In 2025, the Accounts Chamber of Tajikistan conducted 188 audits in ministries, departments, investment project implementation centers, and banks, the agency reported.
As a result of the inspections, financial violations totaling 1 billion 116 million 600 thousand somoni were identified.
In particular, 710.6 million somoni are related to the formation and execution of the state budget, 352.6 million somoni to accounting and financial reporting, 14.8 million somoni to the management of state property, 37.5 million somoni in the construction sector, and 1.1 million somoni to other violations.
According to the Accounts Chamber, 756.2 million somoni were recovered during the reporting period, which is 67.7% of the total amount of identified violations.
Of the recovered funds, 110.7 million somoni were returned to Amonatbank, 40.5 million somoni to the Ministry of Finance, 307.8 million somoni to other accounts related to the state budget, and 297.2 million somoni to enterprises.
