On the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, Dushanbe police officers detained two citizens for exceeding the established price of meat, according to the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.
As previously noted, in order to regulate food prices and prevent their unauthorized inflated prices during the holy month of Ramadan, Moscow police officers are regularly conducting raids and inspections.
In particular, as a result of inspections conducted by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Dushanbe, two cases of meat being sold at an unauthorizedly inflated price were discovered.
It was established that citizens Abdullaev Abdulaziz and Firudzhoni Makhmadullo, who sell meat products at the Magozai Gusht store located on Jabbor Rasulov Street in the Sino district, took advantage of the needs of citizens and unreasonably increased the price of their products in order to obtain material gain.

Administrative violation reports have been filed against the individuals. The Sino District Court has sentenced each of them to four days of administrative arrest.
Once again, all entrepreneurs are being urged to strictly refrain from unjustified price increases on food products. Inspections in this area will continue to be stepped up.
