On February 23, 2026, the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Service and Technology, a public-private partnership agreement was signed to implement the project "Development of the Tajikistan Postal System: Automation of Postal Correspondence Processes." This was reported by the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The agreement aims to develop the postal industry's infrastructure and implement a modern automated postal processing system. The project will improve service quality and organize mail processing, dispatch, and monitoring processes in accordance with modern international standards.
The project will improve logistics services and order fulfillment processes, create new opportunities for e-commerce development, and expand digital services.
The initiative, as noted, will contribute to strengthening the communications infrastructure and sustainable development of the national economy.
The total investment volume is $5 million. Full funding is provided by a private partner, Service and Technology LLC.
According to the plan, the project will create more than 150 new permanent jobs, and over 500 postal industry employees will be involved in new production processes.
