On February 28 of this year, a tree planting event took place in the Chorbog rural jamoat of the Varzob district. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizoi, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection Sheralizoda Bakhodur Akhmadjon, First Deputy Chairman of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan Nematzoda Maliksho Mahmadsho, and Chairman of the Varzob district Damonzoda Khusrav Nazarali. This was reported by the press service of the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was actively attended by employees and specialists from environmental protection agencies, central and local executive party committees, as well as residents of the jamoat.






During the collective work, more than 1,500 high-quality evergreen seedlings were planted on hillsides and elevated areas.
In their speeches, the officials noted that environmental protection is a priority area of the state's socioeconomic policy. They emphasized that the practical implementation of state programs in this area, including through such collective initiatives, creates a favorable foundation for ensuring sustainable development, improving the environmental situation, and raising environmental awareness among the population.





The Committee for Environmental Protection will continue to implement targeted collective practical measures, including greening campaigns, to ensure the high-quality implementation of state programs, expand the scale of improvement and greening, and strengthen cooperation with government agencies, political parties, and civil society institutions.
