Due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan has recommended that citizens refrain from traveling to countries in the region until the situation stabilizes.
On March 2, the agency issued a statement that also provided recommendations to Tajik citizens currently in the Middle East. Specifically, they are advised to strictly adhere to safety regulations and local government directives, avoid crowded public places and potentially dangerous areas, and always carry identification documents and communication devices. Furthermore, citizens are advised to constantly monitor official news and information from Tajik diplomatic missions.
The statement emphasizes that in the event of an emergency or if assistance is needed, citizens can contact the country's diplomatic missions.
