A new format for telecom subscriber service is being launched in Tajikistan. Communication centers are opening at the Tajiktelecom Open Joint-Stock Company, where residents will be able to receive services from the leading national telecom operator and all mobile operators in the country in one location. This was announced by Tajiktelecom.
As noted in a statement from Tajiktelecom, subscribers previously had to visit different operator offices to activate services, restore SIM cards, or change tariff plans. The new format combines these services into a single platform. It is noted that this project is currently unique in the republic's telecommunications market.
The first communication centers have already been opened in the districts of Rudaki, Vahdat, Shahrinav, and in the city of Tursunzade.
The network of communication centers will expand to other regions of the country. This is especially important for residents of settlements located far from the capital.
In addition to mobile phone consultations and services, the communication centers will provide Tajiktelecom services, including high-speed internet, fixed-line telephony, and digital services.
The call center format provides a one-stop shop for service. In a single office, subscribers can apply for SIM cards and eSIMs, renew their numbers independently of their carrier, change tariff plans, and receive consultations on telecommunications services.
According to the project's initiators, the new format will simplify access to communications services, reduce service times, and create uniform customer service standards for residents of all regions of Tajikistan.
