On March 10, 2026, a delegation from the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan met with Valeriu Zgonea, President of the National Authority for Communications Management and Regulation of Romania (ANCOM), in Bucharest, Romania. This was reported by the press service of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in communications and information technology, regulation of the telecommunications market, radio frequency spectrum management, as well as the development of broadband infrastructure, postal services, and digital technologies.


Following the talks, both parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen their cooperation. They also expressed interest in drafting and signing a Memorandum of Cooperation in Communications, which would be an important step toward further strengthening their bilateral partnership.
