On March 18, Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said inaugurated a concrete production facility in the Yavan district as part of events celebrating the International Holiday of Navruz. This was reported by the press service of the Khatlon Region Chairman.
This facility is located in the village of Navkoram-2, in the G. Yusufov rural jamoat. It was built at the initiative of local entrepreneur Mekhrodzhiddin Rakhimov at a cost of 2 million somoni. The goal of the facility is to develop industry and construction, as well as to provide high-quality concrete for construction projects in the district.
During the project presentation, it was announced that the plant's production capacity is 350 cubic meters of concrete per day. This capacity allows it to meet the local market's demand for construction products in a timely and high-quality manner.

To ensure continuous production and transportation of products, the workshop purchased one unit of specialized equipment—a shovel—as well as four concrete mixer trucks. Construction work and equipment installation at the site are now fully completed.
With the commissioning of the workshop, seven local residents have been provided with permanent jobs, which will contribute to an increase in the level of employment.

During a tour of the facility, Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said praised the entrepreneur's initiative in developing production and his contribution to the region's economic development, emphasizing that such initiatives are crucial for strengthening the region's industrial potential and expanding creative work.
It should be noted that the commissioning of such production facilities in the Yavan district on the eve of the International Holiday of Navruz-2026 creates favorable conditions for sustainable economic development and further improvement of the district.
