Moscow has completed the ratification of an agreement with Dushanbe on medical examinations for Tajik labor migrants entering Russia. The corresponding document was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The agreement was signed on October 9, 2025 in Dushanbe.
The document stipulates that citizens of Tajikistan who intend to enter the Russian Federation for work will be required to undergo a medical examination in the republic at organizations authorized by the Russian Ministry of Health, on a paid basis.
Based on the results of the medical examination, the organization will issue a corresponding certificate, which will be recognized within the Russian Federation. Medical documentation will be completed and maintained in Russian.
It is noted that the entry into force of the agreement will facilitate the development of bilateral relations and provide a legal basis for the medical examination of Tajik citizens entering Russia for work purposes.
