The Second Interregional Forum "Uzbekistan – Tajikistan" was held in the city of Jizzakh, during which investment agreements were signed.
A delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Deputy Prime Minister Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizo, and a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, participated in the forum. Representatives of government agencies, regions, investment institutions, and business communities from both countries also participated, according to the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The forum presented the investment opportunities and resources of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, exploring the potential of both countries' regions for implementing joint investment projects and strengthening business ties.






Following the official part of the forum, bilateral B2B meetings were held, during which business representatives discussed the implementation of joint initiatives.
Following the forum, investment agreements, contracts, and memoranda of cooperation were signed, covering areas such as industrial processing, textile production, the agro-industrial sector, the supply of construction materials, the development of the service sector, and the implementation of digital solutions.






The forum marked an important stage in the development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan and will contribute to the further expansion of interregional ties and the implementation of joint projects.
