Avalanches are expected on the Dushanbe-Chanak road from April 4 to 6.

From April 4 to 6, avalanches are expected on avalanche-prone sections of the Dushanbe-Chanak highway, particularly in the Maikhura and Zidekh sections of the Varzob district. This was reported by the Hydrometeorology Agency of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

According to the agency, the risk of avalanches remains on certain sections of this highway during this period. Specifically, the Maikhura and Zidekh sections of the Varzob district are at risk.
