The Third Meeting of Security Council Secretaries of Central Asian States took place in Dushanbe on April 24, as reported by NIAT Khovar.

During the talks, the participants discussed expanding cooperation in regional border security. The focus was on countering terrorism, extremism, and transnational organized crime, including drug trafficking and cyber threats.
A separate item on the agenda was strengthening cooperation in the area of transport and food security.
The parties also discussed issues of coordinating activities related to the development of new digital technologies and infrastructure.
During the meeting, Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, informed participants about the country's international initiatives in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Following the event, a corresponding protocol was signed.
