By 2025, 214 general education institutions, as well as additional buildings and classrooms for 99,000 students, will be built and commissioned in the republic. This was announced at an extended meeting of the republic's government chaired by President Emomali Rahmon.
The total number of general education institutions in the country has reached 4,056. In addition, 3,154 child development centers have been created, serving more than 182,000 children.
The head of state ordered the acceleration of digitalization of education and the improvement of the quality of educational programs.
