Sughd Regional Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda met with the CEO of the Zarafshon Joint Venture Limited Liability Company. During the meeting, the parties discussed the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan's industrial development policy, the significant contribution of the Zarafshon Joint Venture to the overall industrial output of Panjakent, and the implementation of its development goals. This was reported by the regional administration's press service.
Rajab Ahmadzoda, citing the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Majlisi Oli, emphasized that the industrial sector, as a priority area of state policy, continues to develop steadily. In this context, the successful operation of large industrial enterprises, including the Zarafshon joint venture, plays a key role in the implementation of creative programs and the development of the national economy.

It was noted that the Zarafshon joint venture is one of the largest industrial enterprises in the region. Thanks to the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and effective measures by the Sughd Regional Executive Authority, the company's performance has been increasing annually.
According to statistics, the company's industrial output reached 7 billion 912.9 million somoni in 2025, which is 2 billion 117.2 million somoni more than in the same period in 2024. An analysis of the company's activities over the past 11 years shows that, along with the growth in production volumes, the number of employees and their salaries have increased annually.

These achievements demonstrate that the management of the Zarafshon joint venture, relying on state support, rationally using existing resources, building new capacities and increasing production volumes, is focusing on the instructions of the head of state Emomali Rahmon, making a significant contribution to the implementation of the fourth national goal – the accelerated industrialization of the country.
Continuing the meeting, Rajab Akhmadzoda noted that specific and effective measures will be implemented to further strengthen the region's industrial sector. As in previous years, large industrial enterprises will be tasked with increasing production volumes in 2026. In this context, the Zarafshon joint venture has committed to increasing its industrial output to 10 billion somoni.
The company's management expressed gratitude for the ongoing support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and emphasized that the Zarafshon joint venture will fulfill its obligations and continue to make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region.
