During operational investigative activities in the capital of Tajikistan and the Devashtich district, police officers uncovered two cases of embezzlement or misappropriation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan reported.
According to the agency, the Shohmansur District Department of Internal Affairs No. 1 in Dushanbe received a complaint from a 35-year-old Dushanbe resident, the general director of Bakhodur Tijorat LLC. The complaint states that the 24-year-old Dushanbe resident, hired on September 18, 2024, as a sales representative at Bakhodur Tijorat LLC, embezzled food products and cash proceeds from their sale between September 18, 2024, and November 15, 2025. The employee's actions resulted in material damages totaling 134,447 somoni.
During the course of operational investigative activities, police officers also established that a 50-year-old resident of the Devashtichsky district, who received 232 head of small cattle for maintenance and breeding from the Ovchii Gonchi trading corporation under a contract, wrote off 105 head of cattle in 2024 and appropriated the remaining 127 head of cattle, causing significant material damage to the farm in the amount of 120,550 somoni.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 3 of Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The investigation is ongoing.
